If you’re updating your dining room table, here are some ideas to spruce up the whole room:

Decorate a Shade

Dress up a plain drum shade with ribbon. Complement the wall color with a similar shade ribbon. Or choose a bolder hue, such as turquoise or fuchsia, to create more contrast and add a pop of color.

Display a Collection

Make a style statement by displaying a favorite collection of dishes. Use a traditional hutch to show off your collection and paint the walls leading into your dining room with a color to make your collection pop!

Add Coziness

Bring elegance and warmth to your dining room with an ornate area rug. Consign Furniture carries a large selection of area rugs in all shapes and sizes. Add floor-to-ceiling draperies and an intricate China cabinet for an extra luxurious touch.

Update Lighting

Modernize your dining room with new lighting. Industrial-style lighting can be combined with natural furnishings, like distressed wood tables and wicker chairs, for a streamlined look.

Consign Furniture Celebrates 10 Years in Reno!

2018 marks 10 years Consign Furniture has been doing business in Reno. We are a locally owned and operated business and our success stems from family involvement. Alan Rock owns the company, his son Remington manages the Reno store, Alan’s wife does the bookkeeping and his daughter and daughters in-law all contribute to the business.

The company started in 2008, in a small 8,000 square foot space with Alan, Remington and two employees. Since then, we have met with so much success we have had to expand twice into larger locations in Reno – now in the 36,000 square foot facility in the Sierra Center Parkway. In 2015, Alan purchased a 56,000 sq. foot building in Washington as our second location and it is now the largest consignment furniture store in the United States.  (Alan’s son Erik manages the Washington store.) Consign Furniture now employs 42 full-time and 6 part-time people. We are proud to sell furniture for local people and know the money goes back into our community.
